"SCREENING: Regular DATE: September 18th CINEMA: Showcase Cinema de Lux LOCATION: Bluewater NOTE: This is my second failed attempt at seeing a horror-type on a Sunday with friends in a row. Sunday is all my friends can manage, and Monday held bigger things for them. However, two of them arrived later than planned and the other two couldn't make it, and so we couldn't get to the screening on the dot. In fact, two of us couldn't go at all - a guy around our age was collecting tickets at the time, "
"17/9/17 Darron Aronofsky's surreal and infuriating drama with Jennifer Lawrence as a woman trying to make a home but finding that a group of strangers who walk through her door are about to turn it into a living nightmare. The first hour and half are well executed with unsettling noises and a sense of tension, then it goes bonkers nuts but the final act. Still not sure if I liked it or not."
“This was super weird. Trailers made me think it was a horror movie, and it kind of feels like one at points, but I don't think it really is. Tons of symbolism, and clearly an allegory, but parts of the symbolism were hard to fit with the characters. At least it was thought provoking, but don't go expecting horror. 7/10” read more

"Anxiety - the movie. This was quite intense film with the kind of camerawork and directing this had. Most of the shot are close-up's or over the shoulder's following Jennifer Lawrence most of the time. The acting performances were great and the last half was so intense. I had awful time listening the teenager Jennifer Lawrence fan girls talking before the film started but hearing their reactions to some moments in this film was quite funny and made it up. "
"Tomatometer Guess: 75%. Daron Aronofsky's latest film starring Jennifer Lawrence and Javier Bardem is sure to be another provocative and controversial hit for the director. Actual Score: 67%. Not for everyone, but definitely an unforgettable flick."

"Jennifer Lawrence nel primo terrificante trailer di 'Mother!' A creepy atmosphere and Jennifer Lawrence voiceover introduce the audience into Mother!, the new thriller directed by Darren Aronofsky."
"I'll go see anything Aronofsky does. Some concrete details would be nice though if this wants to move up my list."
