"January 23rd Directed by: Steven Spielberg So I guess this is what Spielberg makes now. Even though I really liked Bridge of Spies I wasn't looking forward to this one. I couldn't even tell you what this movie's about. Journalism? I guess? I can tell you Meryl Streep does the good acting. Throw her another statue. This is the most boring film I've ever seen in my life. I'm exaggerating. Fuck. Don't watch this movie."
"1.Alexandre Desplat- The Shape of WaterStarting to look like the favorite. 2.Hans Zimmer- DunkirkLock. 3.John Williams- The PostHe's got two in contention, and this one's got more heat than The Last Jedi, so probably in. 4.Dario Marionelli- Darkest HourBAFTA and Critics' Choice nominee and previous Oscar winner; Marionelli has been nominated four three out of four of his collaborations with director Joe Wright, and his rousing work of Darkest Hour is once again drawing praise. Not lock, but "
"Steven Spielberg directs this tale of how the Washington Post, a newspaper about to hit the markets with a quietly spoken woman publisher and a hard-nosed editor, came upon the story of how the US Government had lied about the Vietnam war for 30 years. Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks, in their first film together, are superb in a film that starts off slow but becoming gripping and intriguing in its second half and makes for a nice companion piece to All The President's Men."
