“It is probably the oldest movie I have seen so far. On top of that, it had been a while since I saw a movie directed by Georges Méliès so I was quite eager to check it out. Well, I really enjoyed the damned thing, that’s for sure. Indeed, even though it was basically only a static shot of 2 mins, it’s incredible how much Méliès managed to achieve with the technology available at the time. Of course, in 2 mins, there was no way he could develop a plot but it didn’t really matter.
