It is probably the oldest movie I have seen so far. On top of that, it had been a while since I saw a movie directed by Georges Méliès so I was quite eager to check it out. Well, I really enjoyed the damned thing, that’s for sure. Indeed, even though it was basically only a static shot of 2 mins, it’s incredible how much Méliès managed to achieve with the technology available at the time. ... read more

The Man With The Rubber Head is a 1901 silent French fantasy film directed by Georges Méliès. A chemist in his laboratory places upon a table his own head, alive; then fixing upon his head a rubber tube with a pair of bellows, he begins to blow with all his might.
