Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace update feed
"Ship: Naboo N-1 starfighter Pilots: Anakin Skywalker, Naboo pilots A colorful ship for a colorful movie. The N-1 fighter serve the same role as the X-wings in the Original Trilogy, as the front line fighters of the Naboo force. They are mostly used by the local Naboo Royal Security Forces, but were more than capable of taking out a Trade Federation droid control ship, as Anakin Skywalker demonstrated."
"Benicio Del Toro as Darth Maul Benicio Del Toro is a great actor, but I just can't see him as Darth Maul. Michael Jackson as Jar Jar Binks NO! The idea alone is just fucking horrifying! Another bullet dodged! Fortunately, things turned out perfectly. Ahmed Best turned out to be the perfect choice for the character that was the best thing about the prequels."
"One word doomed the entire movie: "Yippee!" by stupid kid Anakin. If only there had been more Darth Maul."
"Minä katsoin vahingossa kaikki Star Warsit. Tätä ei tarvitse enää koskaan katsoa uudestaan. Ainakin voin hyvällä mielellä antaa esiosille yhden tähden. Vaimoke on kanssa tästä samaa mieltä. "Darth Maul Darth Maul became only half of the Sith lord that Anakin Skywalker became. OK, that joke is lame."
"Offended viewers have been bitching about Star Wars movies since Episode 1 was being made. Idiots of practically every ideology bitched about Episode 7 for months, if not years, before it was released. With that in mind, could you imagine if Episode 1 were released today? The "Social Justice Warriors" would be angry over the "stereotypes", while ignoring the real problems facing minorities in the USA. The "Men's Rights Activists" would bitch about Padme being part of a feminist agenda. It'"
" Growing up with the first three Star Wars movies that made up the original Trilogy, I, of course, was not the biggest fan of the later films. But, I was still able to enjoy the visuals of these new millennium flix, particularly, the diversity of kick-ass looking aliens and otherworldy creatures (my favorite aspect of the franchise, actually). Now don't get me wrong... I don't think that it makes up for the wooden acting, mess of a plot and more importantly, for the whole Jar-Jar Binks debacle."
