Spectacular Movie and TV Deaths

Darth Maul

Darth Maul became only half of the Sith lord that Anakin Skywalker became. OK, that joke is lame.

I'm not even a regular viewer of Game of Thrones, but I know that there are some nasty death scenes. (And there is also a scene of Rose Leslie naked - ¡ay, muy pinche caliente!) Anyhow, the scene in which some dude's eyes are gouged out and his head is crushed definitely deserves a spot on this list.

Dario

Licence to Kill has the most brutal death scenes in Bond history. Perhaps the most brutal is that of Dario (brilliantly played by Benicio Del Toro). Dario is, of course, a nasty, sadistic murderer, so fuck him.

You can count on at least one per episode. Some of my favorites:

1. The cigarette junkie who survived an accidental fire he caused, only to accidentally kill himself by lighting up while in flammable bandages and ointments and using an oxygen tank.
2. The idiot who plunged thermometers up his bunghole.
3. The idiot who hid pepper spray up his bunghole.
4. The idiot who drowned in his own kitchen sink.

Oh, God, there are quite a few great ones. Some of the Burmese soldiers are blown to pieces and there are some nasty, Postal style headshots.

Pretty much any death in this unintentional(?) comedy counts as spectacular.

Alec Trevelyan

OK, it's far from the best Bond movie (to me, at least), but the death of Alec Trevelyan is one hell of a scene. Bonus points for Sean Bean.

Sonny Corleone

All of those shots to take down one guy? They definitely wanted to make sure that Sonny was dead.

Tony Montana

Tony Montana's death is easily the king of movie deaths.
