In the year 1944, an artifact is used in a military experiment. The artifact is the Mask of Anhangá, the executioner of Tahawantinsupay, a Pre-Columbian God. The experience fails. Nowadays, the Mask arrives at Sao Paulo. The Mask possesses a body and starts to commit visceral sacrifices on vengeance for the incarnation of its God, initiating a blood bath. The policewoman Beatriz Obdias is in charge of the crimes, challenging her beliefs. A true mystical slasher film in the city of Sao Paulo.

"First viewing - May 24th Horror fans will absolutely need to check this one out. The gore effects and kills are insane, and while there are some familiar elements this Brazilian film is very much its own creature. I was even more impressed with it after learning from the Q&A that it was shot in 16 days on a shoestring budget, and this was the first feature film their effects team had ever worked on. It's not perfect, but it's a damn good time and I'd love to get the chance to watch it with othe"
