I have to admit that the way they tried to mix up two different timelines with some completely different tones was actually ambitious but, unfortunately, it just never really worked. I won’t blame Shailene Woodley and Felicity Jones as they were both not bad at all and they did what they could with this material but, I’m sorry, their characters were just boring.
