"There's really something to watching these preachy Chinese films about the evils of Japanese imperialists (which, don't get me wrong, were real fucking evil) when they're currently perpetrating open genocide on their lands. Anyhow, Ip Man, it's a movie. It has a lot of great moments and I wish it built several of them up a bit better. The humor is better than I would've expected."
