"Cellmates Fletch and Godber find themselves on the wrong side of the bars when they're inadvertently bungled out of Slade Prison during someone else's escape. Somehow they've got to break back in before warder Mackay notices their absence. This is probably the best movie adaptation of any of the 1970's BBC/ITV sitcoms and stays true to the TV series. Porridge was simply one of the greatest comedy shows Britain ever produced. The majority of the cast are in the movie apart from Christopher Biggi"
