"3.1. 2020 "Despair" is Fassbinder's one of the lesser known works and it's also one of the more confusing ones. It doesn't have a traditional plot nor lots of explanations for all the weird thing happening so assumably a viewer have to be especially patient and focused while watching the film, although I'm not entirely sure how much that helps to understand anything.
