Gengobe Satsuma, an exiled samurai cast out as an Asano clan retainer is given a second chance to join his brothers in arms to become the 48th Ronin against the Shogunate. His faithful servant gathers the 100 ryo required for his acceptance. Gengobe is also in love with a greedy geisha named Koman. About to be sold to another man, Gengobe learns that for him to keep her, her debt is exactly 100 ryo.

Movies I watched in July 2020 (50 movies items)

" Date: 7/31/2020 Viewed: Youtube First Viewing Note: I finished all 31 movies of the July Horror Hunt and I decided to save the best for last. This is a movie that I always heard about growing up from other Japanese movie fans and I never had the chance to watch it. I finally got the chance to watch the movie on Youtube and this movie was amazing. This movie is pretty long and it does move pretty slow at times, but it is totally worth sitting through.
