Compliments the show brilliantly
“The show is one of the finest examples of anime there is, so when I heard that there was a movie I thought to myself that this could go either way. Thankfully Cowboy Bebop: The Movie went the way I hoped it would, which was that being a movie that complimented the show well and succeeded on its own merits, both of which Cowboy Bebop: The Movie does brilliantly. The animation is both ethereal and haunting, with the character designs and faces expressive. The music is emotionally complex and fits the mood of the film perfectly, when there's action it's rousing, when there is an emotional moment it is poignant and when there is an intensely dark moment it is haunting. The dialogue is very thought-provoking with some nice humour, true to the style of the show actually, while the story has a lo” read more
"I watched that one without knowing it has a series and a bunch of other stuff. It is really good and you don't need to watch the series to be able to enjoy the movie. I still remember all the key characters they were very special and remarkable. Action movie you would say and directed in an awesome way. "

"Re-watch - Dec. 29th I woke up Friday morning still under the weather, so I settled in for the day on my couch with some movies. I kicked off the day with the Cowboy Bebop movie, which is another film I hadn't seen in over 10 years. Now it should be noted that I've caught a couple episodes of the show but have not watched the full run. That's something I need to fix at some point. Fortunately you don't need to know the series to appreciate the film as it's tailored to be self-contained. It's co"
"Cowboy Bebop was the first anime that I finished back in the day. The mixture of Jazz/Blues, Film-Noir and Space Westerns has always captivated me. Regrettably however, it took me until now to watch this sequal film... and it wasn't dissapointing in the least!! It was really nice to return back to these characters once again with some new content. The movie plays out like a extra long episode of the show, and it's pretty great since it does a good job with its pacing. Now the villain and plot ar"
