Furthermore, since I heard it was the best installment in this franchise, I thought it might turn out to be a decent watch. "Cars 3 is another decent film of the Cars Franchise, but it doesn't have anything to offer now (At least was better than Cars 2) Award: *Best Shocking Scene - The crash "
"Follows up: Cars 2 Predecessor score: 39% Sequel score: 68% Difference: 29%"
"While more adult in some respects than the other "Cars" films, the film suffers from missed opportunities, pacing problems, and some ridiculous moments. 6.1/10"
"17/7/17 The return of Pixar's most middle-of-the-road franchise has Lightning McQueen trying to find his speed again after being pushed aside by new, faster cars. While the animation is first class and the attention to detail amazing, it lacks any real emotional punch and imagination as this looks like a retread of the original. Time to push this into a garage and left under a dust sheet."
"When: July 17th First-Time Viewing: Yes. How: In theaters. What'd I Think?: More adult-themed Cars sequel is better than "Cars 2" but loses some steam due to some missed opportunities. My Rating: 7/10 Other Notes: NA."
"SCREENING: Q&A (Brian Fee & Kevin Reher), Film Funday, Preview DATE: July 9th CINEMA: BFI LOCATION: Southbank SHORTS: Lou (★★★)"
