Sir Sidney Ruff-Diamond looks after the British outpost near the Khybar pass. Protected by the kilted Third Foot and Mouth regiment, you would think they were safe. But the Khazi of Kalabar has other ideas. He wants all the British dead! But his troops fear the "skirted-devils"; they are rumoured not to wear anything underneath. Then one is caught with his pants on...

"Probably the best of the Carry On films. During the British rule of India, the 5th Foot and Mouth are the most feared regiment until one is discovered to be wearing underwear beneath his kilt, which triggers a war. Crammed with terrible puns and the usual collection of innuendos, this has the best ending with a meal during an invasion. Any film that has character names like Sidney Rough-Diamond, the Khasi of Kalabar and Bungdit In cannot be all bad."
