"A crack commando unit of 4 Australian soldiers land on a Japanese conquered island somewhere in the South China Sea during WWII in the Pacific in order to rescue an important Japenese defector. This is a low budget Australian action/war movie which would have probably been forgotten about except it has 2 actors that would soon hit the big time in Mel Gibson and Sam Neill. The story is interesting, moves along at a nice pace with some pretty good action scenes though the Japanese soldiers act ve"

It's a concept with serious potential, especially given other "men on a mission" movies like The Dirty Dozen and Inglorious Basterds, but this particular story cannot do justice to the concept.
