Specially made for kids but poor standard

This movie is for kids under 8. I enjoyed watching both the parts, but never liked them. I saw this movie because I was desperate for an animation movie so I had no other option but when I decided to watch.

I can't say it was a very bad because it is specially made for children, but technically it was too bad, poor quality. Good 3D models, but bad texturing and colour tone.

I honestly can't remember much of anything from the first one. All I know is that I didn't like it. I don't like leaving things unfinished though so I saw there were multiple sequels on Netflix. So I figured why not get them out of the way. I mean they are only about the length of a TV episode. The director Richard Rich actually directed Fox and the Hound and the Black Cauldron. Kate, Humphrey and their 3 new pups (Stinky, Claudette and Runt) are happily preparing to celebrate their first winter together when their youngest pup Runt, mysteriously disappears. They must now go on a new journey across the wilderness to find Runt and bring him back before the snow blocks their way home. While their adventure does not end exactly as planned, Kate & Humphrey discover that "Home is where the Family is".

Both of which I absolutely loved. Anthony Bell who directed the first one is also involved though which is a bit off putting. I'm not familiar with anyone else behind the scenes here. They didn't even manage to get anyone recognizable from the first one. Looks like this series has the Air Bud syndrome. These pups look awful. The adults look much better.
