Gabby is the foreman of the Ladder A Ranch, where the owners are looking for a little help fighting their lawless competitor. Roy arrives and tries to sort the mess, no one knowing he is an undercover Deputy Marshal. He scores points when he enters in time to rescue Dale from a sinking buckboard stuck in a pond.
