“To be honest, I wasn't really sure what to expect from this flick but since I have a weak spot for Alicia Vikander and since it was available on Netflix, I thought I might as well check it out. Well, even if the damned thing really had some potential, it turned out to be rather half-baked, I'm afraid. I think that the director Wash Westmoreland wanted to create some kind of Hitchcockian thriller set in Japan which did sound pretty cool but, unfortunately, the story was just rather weak. First of all, I think I have seen too many thrillers starting with a murder suspect being interrogated by the police with the rest of the story told in a flashback to show what happened before.
