Robert Wise was born September 10 1914 in Winchester,Indiana and died September 14 2005 in Westwood, Los Angeles.
he began is career in the 1930's as a sound and music editor and later as a film editor for RKO and during is career as a film editor he worked on several popular films like The Hunchback Of Notre-Dame (1939) Citizen Kane (1941) and The Magnificent Ambersons (1942)
he began is career as a Director in the horror movie The Curse Of The Cat People (1944) and during is very long career he did some unforgettable movie's like the The Body Snatcher (1945) The Day The Earth Stood Still (1951) I Want To Live (1958) West Side Story (1961) The Haunting (1963) The Sound Of Music (1965) The Sand Pebbles (1966) The Andromeda Strain (1971) The Hindenberg (1975) and Star Trek The Motion Picture (1979).
