Resident Evil 2: Dual Shock edition - PlayStation
Incredible game with four main scenarios.

Resident Evil: Director's Cut - PlayStation
The RE that most leans toward horror. It also features everything RE has come to be known for: glorious fixed camera angles, perfect tank controls, great soundtrack, multiple endings, more than one character to play as, interconnected item boxes, inventory management, limited ammo, lots of awesome backtracking...
Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - PlayStation
Lots of new elements like Live Selections, powder mixing, 180° turn, dodging maneuver and a dedicated button to aim at explosives.
Paulo Júnior's rating:
Resident Evil 0 HD Remaster - PC Games
I really like RE0 but the reception in the fandom is mixed. It doesn't have interconnected item boxes, you can leave your items anywhere you want to. It also features a system where you control two characters and can swap between them at will.
Resident Evil CODE: Veronica X - PlayStation 2
This one features fixed cameras that are dynamic and move a little, since the game is not prerendered anymore, instead it's 3D. Other than that, there's nothing much new to witness.
Paulo Júnior's rating:
Resident Evil HD Remaster - PlayStation 4
A faithful remake of RE1 with glorious prerendered graphics and new areas, enemies and puzzles added. It also added defense knives and you must burn the zombies otherwise they come back as the faster crimson ones.
Duplicate - PC Games
Not as faithful as REmake, this one uses a third-person camera instead of the original fixed ones. It also changes a lot of the layouts, but uses the same gameplay ideology of the originals. I found the use of OTS camera instead of fixed camera to be a HUUUUGE missed opportunity. Not even as an optional thing?!?
Resident Evil 3 - PlayStation 4
It kinda seems more like Resi to me most of the time, but then it gets too actiony sometimes too. And it's not a good remake, it's way too different and cuts content.
Resident Evil: Revelations 2 - PlayStation 4
This one was released in chapters.
Paulo Júnior's rating:
Resident Evil: Revelations - PlayStation 3
Start to the Revelations side-series that tried to reimplement horror into RE.
Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition - Nintendo Wii
Introducing a new style, this one is not a good RE, but it's a perfect game. It's totally actiony, without backtracking, with over the shoulder camera, with enemies that behave like usual humans.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard - PlayStation 4
A first person game that features the gameplay ideology of the classics.
Resident Evil 5 - PlayStation 3
One of the most actiony REs. Takes RE4's gameplay ideology and pumps it up to eleven. The enemies now even use submachine guns on you.
Resident Evil 6 - PlayStation 3
This has three campaigns, four if you include Ada. It's a game filled with content. Just not good content.
Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles - Nintendo Wii
Light gun game that fills in story gaps in the series lore.
Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles - Nintendo Wii
Another light gun to fill story gaps, that also retells some events.
Resident Evil: Dead Aim - PlayStation 2
This one features a system where you walk around in third person but goes into first person when aiming to shoot.
