Resident Evil - PlayStation

The grand daddy of the PS1 underground labs, Resident Evil introduced the concept. Just as you got bored with the mansion, you unlock a massive underground laboratory underneath it. Convenient plot device, you say? Well, they repeated this in three more games, so get ready for some horrible writing decisions!

Resident Evil 2 - PlayStation

The game climaxes inside an underground lab from which you escape via a secret subway. Also, naked zombies on the PS1!

Resident Evil 3: Nemesis - PlayStation

There's an underground laboratory/sewer in the end. The sewage is where the concept belongs to, so really that combination is quite appropiate.

Resident Evil: Survivor - PlayStation

More underground labs! I never played this, but apparently most of it took place within the sterile confounds of an underground location full of SCIENCE.
Parasite Eve II - PlayStation

The first non-Resident Evil-entry in the list, Parasite Eve II has an underground laboratory inside a coal mine that's in the middle of the Mojave desert. You access the lab by flipping a secret switch that's on a motorcycle that someone conveniently drove into the depths of the mine, through several broken walkways and whatnot. Maybe those parasites truly can levitate objects!

Dino Crisis - PlayStation

It's labs galore! There are facilities on top of the ground, underground, and even in the clouds! Well, maybe not there, but the whole game literally takes place in one huge complex, part of which is below ground. And it's developed by Capcom. Who knew?

Syphon Filter - PlayStation

Here the main villain hides his laboratory cleverly underneath a cathedral twice as big as the Notre Dame!

Overblood - PlayStation

The penultimate underground laboratory-game, this one takes place entirely inside one! And it's attrociously bad! Wait, is that man masturbating?
There's a ton of them! Suggestions are very much welcome.
