Bathroom Wall - Jimmy Fallon
Bathroom

One of my many safe areas in a dream -don't ask me why, and I won't tell you- times when I find myself retreating into one in a dream is usually a call for privacy and protection. The stress and pressures of everyday life is getting so immense. At least in a public restroom stall people have the common courtesy to respect your boundaries.

Until they don't! Ultimately, I've found in my experience that when I'm retreating into a public restroom and can't find an empty stall it's a surefire sign that I can run, but can't hide. The stress of dealing with day to day people such as in a grocery store or any other crowded venue, this problem isn't gonna simply go away by attempting to shut the outside world out. It's time to come out and face your fears.

But do what you gotta do first, to release the pressure off yourself. Whatever works for you - no sense in coming out too early if you're only gonna re-traumatize yourself?
Batteries

All human beings basically are their own personal battery packs. People absorb energies from others and do things throughout the day trying to cleanse from all the impurities, and spread the influential to others among them who might need the vibes more. A dream symbol of any kind of batteries, brought up at any time in the dream, is usually a classic sign that supportive energy is currently needed, and that you're running low and need to re-charge. It usually comes to me on weeks that I'm trying to do too many things at once. Energy can only be focused on one thing at a time. Might be time to simplify?

Dogs

Since I am afraid of dogs in true life it makes sense that they would normally be mean in my dreams. However, this works both ways, and true to life being nothing more than a collective unconscious dream we all weave together, dogs are constantly placed in my path for the specific purpose of teaching me to overcome my basic fears and step into personal confidence.

Dogs are often labeled as Man's Best Friend, therefore dogs in dreams have a degree of loyalty and companionship attached to them, regardless of the interpretation in whole. But for me, I've found recurring nightmares of white dogs that turned black the moment I chose to go around them rather than walk up to them. Just yesterday I had an experience in real life with a group of hippies with big mean dogs off their leashes around them. They told me they wouldn't bite but I was skeptical. Then they explained to me that running away always makes things worse, cause dogs can sense fear. If you remain confident in your stance, dogs can be approached. I wonder if this was true in the case of Cerberus?

Dream Dictionary - I

Inner Child

My childlike essence appears to me quite frequently in the dream state. It took me many interpretations to realize this was not someone separate from myself, but the deepest part of my whole being. We all have that - much like the archetypal Fool of the Tarot, and akin to what John Lennon once wrote on his oral school report in class - the true goal of this game of life we all play, is not to be rich, not to find romantic love, not to be successful...it's to be 'happy'. When we finally tap in to that inner state of 'joy', all things flow to us cause restriction has been lifted. When you approach all difficult tasks with the foolish nature of the child in mind, nothing will ever feel like hard work, cause life is ultimately a "game". The outcome all depends on how and how often you wish to play.

My personal inner child comes to me in the image of a young blonde haired boy. Always the same image every time. Usually has a very important message to impart upon me but I always fail to recognize the need to listen cause due to how it's expressed - how often do stuck up rigid adults take to heart to seek the value in random childish banter?

Red Rain (Single) - Peter Gabriel
Rain

Just about the healthiest symbol you can hope to receive in a dream. Pretty self-explanatory, this symbol will usually come to you during a week you are succeeding in doing serious introspective work and cleansing your environment and purifying your mind. Rain washes away all and purifies the Earth, so too when we are caught in the rain.

Even as a little kid I always appreciated the rain. I loved it, the smell of it, the look, the coming together it brought of people. It was never a sad symbol to me like it usually was to most kids. Since dreams take place in you head mostly when one is rained on in the dream world it usually means you are washing away the sins of the past (even if those sins happen to be ignorance) and being born anew.

Spider (2002)
Spider

I'm naturally terrified of spiders in my real life. It's a childhood fear that I'm only starting to get over in my late years. All those years growing up I never really got to the bottom of where this severe phobia actually came from. I just knew that I had it.

Regardless although I continue to experience fear when it comes to these creatures manifesting in my dreams, it's only recently that I've come to understand what this particular symbol means. And it's so clever it almost makes me giggle every time I think about how obvious it should have been to me.

Since every night we dream we experience an out-of-body state it becomes apparent that the last couple of dreams I had seen a creepy looking spider come down from the ceiling to right before me, what I am actually staring at should be my own body lying horizontal in my bed. -Over my bed at home I hang a dreamcatcher I purchased online directly over my head. The way I was told dreamcatchers work is they are obviously comprised of a web-like pattern. The webbing in the middle as well as the crystal in the center, are meant to act as a psychic trap for negative energies, that attempt to invade the unconscious thoughts of the dreamer at night. They are irresistibly drawn to the webbing where they get caught and dissipated in the crystal, leaving only the positive, healing energies of the dreamscape, to be caught in the webbing also, only I've been told what happens to these energies is they tend to 'ooze' down the length of the dreamcatcher, to the length of the eagle feathers that hang ceremonially from the bottom of the device, and drip into the dreamer's subconscious like water left running overnight from the tap. Thus the reason why dreamcatchers work best when placed over the dreamer's head.

A symbol of a spider could either be a warning that I'm somehow allowing nightmarish influences to get in. Or it could be a processing symbol that I shouldn't be quick to judge harsh new revelations, as being unhelpful to my spiritual health and growth. In other words, I shouldn't be too quick to throw out useful advice.

Spider-Man (2002)
Spider-Man

An empowering symbol. Usually means that I'm owning up to my responsibilities and coming in to my personal power. With great power comes great responsibility! -Also, traditionally Spider-Man is thought of as a 'comical' classic superhero. No other really popular Marvel or D.C. character out there does that. Spidey's always cracking jokes while Batman's tormented by his own inner demons. This meaning that sometimes, in the face of oppressive Luciferian factions like the Illuminati, laughter can be the most powerful weapon to overcome a society run by 'psychopaths'.

Another way of looking at it is it's hilarious just how easy to overcome such insurmountable obstacles. Sometimes your own greatest adversary is yourself.

Water

A working progress for my own personal analysis of dream symbols that have popped up and what form and definition they are most depicted to me in. Will add stuff as I go along.

I keep a personal dream diary, and often use dream symbols to help make critical decisions in my life. If I'm feeling down, my dreams will pick me back up. If I'm acting full of myself, my dreams will help cut through my bullshit for me! Far too often we ignore the deeper meanings of metaphysical dream scenarios and common experiences. What certain symbols mean, their roots and the common misconceptions people often give them.

Don't judge, I'm still new to lucid dreaming and the terminology and techniques that come with it. Hoping to further grow as I go along, but for now these are the things I come up against time and time again and hopefully a definition to go along with what I think the symbol means?...
