Final Destination 5 (2011)
Number 4 was the weakest yet, but still had enough fun deaths to make it a worthwhile watch. Didn't have the chance to catch it in the cineam in 3-D, but I'll try for this one, depending on reviews.

The Hangover: Part II (2011)
The first was certainly overrated, but I still enjoyed it quite a bit. One of 2009's best comedies for sure. Hopefully this is on par, but somehow I doubt it.

Green Lantern (2011)
Could be good. Haven't looked into it all that much to be honest. But it's got Marvel's name on it, so I'll check it out anyway.
The Green Hornet (2011)
Same goes for this, but Hornet has such a likable cast. It'll be interesting to see how Seth Rogen fairs in the Superhero lead role. I'm especially looking forward to seeing Christoph Waltz get some action. Haven't seen him in anything since Inglorious Basterds.
Paul (2011)
A couple of nerds (Simon Pegg and Nick Frost) go on a road trip across American with their new alien friend Paul (Seth Rogen).
This one could be big, with the director of Superbad and Adventureland behind it, aswell as an epic cast, which also includes Kristen Wiig, Sigourney Weaver and Jason Bateman.

Thor (2011)
Haven't looked into this one all that much, but it promises to be action packed and bloody. Plus it's got Natalie Portman co-starring. Hell, I'll watch it for that.

Marvel fans have waited long enough for Captain America to get the movie he deserves, and hopefully this will satisfy.
Has a good cast, and this one could be great if it's done right.

X-Men: First Class (2011)
Wolverine was a bit of a flop. But hopefully this will get back to what makes X-Men so great, the team.
I'm expecting this to be a better effort than Wolverine, but we'll see how it goes.

Red Riding Hood (2011)
Sounds like something than Mr. Tim Burton would tackle, but alas it's not.
Actually, this is definitely too high on the list, now that I think about it.
Still, I am holding out hope that this will not be what everyone expects it to be (Ie: Another Twilight).
Hopefully it's done the way a lot of us wants it to be done: Dark, creepy and visually awesome.
The trailer isn't much to go by, but this one could go either way. Could be epic or a total chick flick shitfest. Let's just hope it's not the latter.

Daron Aranofsky's new film promises to be dark and stunning. I hear it's not exactly the feel-good film of the year, so those expecting a campy ride, stay away from this one. Natalie Portman is quickly becoming one of my favorite actresses, and that's one of my main attractions to the film. I love unique, weird films, and I think this will match that criteria.

I'll see anything that Joss Whedon is a part of. He has yet to disappoint me, and this campy horror movie sounds like a LOT of fun. Can't wait.
BrosephInnit's rating:

Part 1 was a tad disappointing, but I am fully confident that part 2 will exceed it. This one will be action packed, and those of you who cried during Dobby's death, expect more tears in this one!

Super 8 (2011)
JJ Abrams is a freakin' genius. Similar to Cloverfield, details on this movie are being kept fairly under wraps.
Still, I think we're all expecting big things. If it's as good as Cloverfield, I'll love it.

Officially this one doesn't even have a release date, but there were talks about it getting a Late 2011 release, so I threw it in here, just in case.
Yes, I know this movie will be nothing compared to the series. Without the cast and obviously Joss, a lot of people are angry. I can't say I'm happy about it either.
BUT, I am still holding out hope that they could turn this into something great. I'm waiting for the first cast announcments and any trailers before I make up my mind about this one.
They could go about it two ways. The first way is to completely "Twilight" it, creating a ton of angry Whednoites, but no doubt making a fortune in the process.
The second way they could do it, is make it more 'adult'. I'm hoping for at least a 15's rating, allowing this to be violent and dark. I'd rather it be more like "True Blood" than "Twilight". That's for sure.
So yeah, this is another one that could go either way.
I pray to god that it's the good way.

Sucker Punch (2011)
If you haven't heard about this movie, watch the trailer and come back to me.
If you're a girl, chances are you'd think this movie sounds like utter rubbish. That's a fair point.
But if you're a guy, more specifically a nerdy guy, chances are you'll think it looks like the greatest movie of all time.
Needless to say, I fall into the latter.
Hot girls in some kind of video game world, where they have to defeat everything from Giant robots to Nazis.
Excuse me while I cream my pants.

Scream 4 (2011)
Are my expectations too high? Almost definitely.
But I'm a HUGE fan of the Scream series.
Knowing that Wes is directing is a huge influence on my expectations. That, and the three main cast members returning. Although they may be short-lived, the new cast members are quite likable too. Hopefully they can fill the shoes of Courtney, Neve and David.
The trailer is good, and the idea of 'New Rules' sounds quite intriguing.
Hopefully it's just as campy and thrilling as the rest.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (2014)
I didn't realise that this appears to have been moved back to 2012 release date, but screw it. It might still get a 2011 release. Time will tell.
Basically nothing has really been released in terms of details.
We expect most of the cast to return, obviously minus the late Brittany Murphy (Who will be missed) and Robert Rodriguez returns at the helm.
The first is one of my all-time favorites, and so I have extremely high hopes for the sequel.
Expect blood and boobs, splattered aplenty across a comic book type screen.
It's gonna' be epic.

The list of movies that I'm most looking forward to in 2011. Possibly forgetting a couple. And a few of these don't have exact release dates yet, but nonetheless....
