Ranking of Kamen Rider Seasons (Heisei)

This season was basically Ryuki,555 and Blade combined with all the bad things taken out. The casting was great, the production value and the end result was almost perfect and every episode (except 30) was tied to the main storyline, even episode 25.Other things to note are the character development for the Gaim, Baron and Ryugen, who are all aiming for the same thing, but attempt to achieve it in their own different ways. And Professor Ryoma is probably my favorite rider hands down.

Favorite Rider: Ryoma Sengoku / Kamen Rider Duke

This season is probably the second best season I have seen so far. This is mainly because almost everything was executed perfectly (Plot,Characters, etc.). The show starts off well, introducing characters and systems, but when the season reached its' 20th episode,man,things started to go boom! (not literally) The ending basically sealed this seasons' fate as my number one season. The characters were perfectly developed and this one of the few seasons where I didn't hate ANY characters. (Amane was close, though)
The only problem I had with the show was the fact that casting wasn't great and out of the four riders, Hajime got the best actor. I feel like this problem could eventually lead to Gaim overtaking it.
P.S. The music was really great. Even the ending songs.

Favorite Rider: Sakuya Tachibana / Kamen Rider Garren

Let me sum up this season for you: It is perfect. The riders, the allies, the cast, the plot and the villains were well thought out and the penultimate episode is perfect. However,this season is second place for a few reasons. Firstly: AKIKO. That's all there is to know. And then there's this: the final episode. This ruined it for me as, compared to other episodes, this was rather boring. And it really should've been made into a movie called something like: Kamen Rider W : Philip Returns. Also. some of the monster designs could be better ans Accel's design looks a bit too bulky.

Favorite Rider: Shotaro Hidari/ Kamen Rider Joker

Now,many of you will probably be surprised that I put this as my third place. This is because this show and W are the seasons which have a perfect mix of both serious and comedy and that kind of mix is very hard to pull off. Not only that, but this show has one of my favorite villains of all time (Sora) and one of my favorite secondary riders (Beast). The opening theme and suit designs were kind of great too. However, the main rider is a bit too boring in my opinion and the last 2 Mage riders were introduces way too late.

Favorite Rider: Kosuke Nitoh/Kamen Rider Beast

This season very unique in my a positive way. In this season, the main protagonists are not only the titular Kamen Rider, but also a teenage boy, unsure on what to do with his life. In my opinion the fact that they combine Onis and music are very interesting and the journey that Asumu undergoes during this season is also interesting. The three main riders of this season all grew throughout the season, despite the fact that two of them seemed perfect when they were first introduced. Like W, there were 2 main problems with series: Kyosuke and the music, which is ironic because this season is basically a Kamen Rider musical. Overall, this season is a feel-good one and I enjoyed watching it.

Favorite Rider: Hibiki

Another surprise season on my list. This season mainly focuses on friendship and high school problems, which I can relate to. It is also a really funny series,which to me automatically puts this season on my top few seasons. Then, there is the Meteor arc, which balances this season out perfectly. The final battle was simply amazing and Meteor's untransformed battle in episode 30 was badass. Every villain was great, except for Capricorn. Rider designs and side character development could also have been better. I mean,seriously, Meteor's design was plain and his Storm Form was an eyesore. Overall,a fun season,but needs help with Rider designs. Oh yeah, the main rider's actor needs an acting coach.

Favorite Rider: Ryusei Sakuta/Kamen Rider Meteor

Kabuto is,compared to Hibiki, a fast-paced, highly dramatic and full-of-action season which is why I like this season. However,I only like three riders. The rest are all disappointments. The main character,Tendou,can be an ass,but I don't mind,because he has actions to back up his words,which makes him, on paper, the most skilled human rider.And then there's Kagami. Compared to Tendou, he is a naive and unskilled man and has lots of room for development. Finally, Tsurugi,whose antics to get Misakinu make him the funniest rider of all, but he turns evil and dies in the end. His arc is really sad. That's all I can say.Anyways,this season was a good one.

Favorite Rider: Tsurugi Kamishiro/Kamen Rider Sasword

I think this season is the only season where I like every single character. I don't hate any one of them. In fact, this season has one of my favorite villains of all time, Dr Maki. His motives and development were amazing. On the other hand,the riders were bland,except for Date,who I liked thoroughly. Also, the plot seemed interesting at first,but it eventually declined,and I ended up thinking the series was just decent when I reached the end...I wanna end on a positive note, so the rider designs were great.

Favorite Rider: Akira Date/Kamen Rider Proto-Birth

Now, we are at the bottom half of the list and the reason why this season is at the bottom half is because it was simply boring and I did NOT like the villains at all. TAIGA WAS WILLING TO KILL HIS MOTHER DAMMIT. I even hated Nago when he first started out and Wataru was boring but had good development. Anyways, the rider designs and music were great.

Favorite Rider: Wataru Kurenai/Kamen Rider Kiva

Now, the action,music,designs and twists of this season was undeniably good,the Orphenochs are my favorite villain group and the main six are characters I actually like. The rest of this season I utterly didn't like. Especially Kusaka/Kaixa. He was a straight-up jerk,even for an anti-hero.

Favorite Rider: Yuji Kiba/Kamen Rider Orga

This season was straight-up boring. Even though it did revive the kamen rider series that's all it did for me. I couldn't make it through the first 30 episodes without sleeping and I needed coffee to get me through the season. I did like Godai, though.

Favorite Rider: Yusuke Godai/Kamen Rider Kuuga. Do I have a choice?

This season is overrated. I actually though this was okay when I finished watching the entire series,but the after-movies just ruined it for me as they were unnecessary. So if it weren't for the movies, this season would have been higher. Props to Takeru Satoh for being able to play many different personalities.

Favorite Rider: Ryotaro Nogami/Kamen Rider Den-O

This season was just confusing. Too many plot holes and Kanzaki's motive was just stupid. Also,the ending was the worst ending for any kamen rider series ever. Just makes the rider war seem pointless. Thank goodness Shinji, Kitaoka,and episode 30 were quite funny if not, this season would have been the 2nd lowest on my list.

Favorite Rider: Shinji Kido/Kamen Rider Ryuki

and Shuichi Kitaoka/Kamen Rider Zolda

Now, this season is almost at the bottom of my list and I have a good reason for it. I HATED EVERY CHARACTER IN THIS SERIES.Especially Taichi,Mana and Hojo. I only liked the three main riders. They were pretty cool. This season also holds the distinction of fastest time taken for me to complete a Kamen Rider season, three days. I just wanted to get it over and done with.

Favorite Rider: Makoto Hikawa/Kamen Rider G3/G3-X

Man, there are too many bad things to say about this season...I'm just not gonna say them. Congratulations Yusuke, I actually liked you more fighting scenes could have helped, though.
