Six months prior to the start of the series, a mysterious ritual held on the day of the solar eclipse released a group of magical creatures called Phantoms into the world through human Gates who were people who gave in to despair. Haruto Sohma, the survivor of the ritual, is tasked by the mysterious White Wizard to become Kamen Rider Wizard in order to fight the Phantoms and save humanity from despair.

Why I Love Tokusatsu (11 tv items)

"THEY HAVE HOPE AS THE BASIS TO THEIR STORIES Unlike a lot of Hollywood media that is grim and dark, tokusatsu tends to keep that light shining at the end of the tunnel that gives the viewer hope. Both for the show itself and just life in general."
