Final Fantasy - BEST TO WORST

Simple and clean. It can be tedious with how simple it is but I find that simplicity fun. I like the type of game FF is and has become. The final boss can be an increase in difficulty and really the only time I started to not enjoy playing it. The whole game itself is a fun and simple ride that may need a guide to go along with it for some parts...

It is fun but kinda bland. The job system is neat. Mechanically it's not as fun as II even though II's was kinda infuriating. The story is traditionally bland, but historically it's probably the first FF game to keep in line to ask moral questions along with its story, and just like in the FF line it undercuts them in the final boss. Lel.

In some ways fun, but in some ways infuriating. I love some ideas and I think they're implemented well enough but the way they work for me is just confusing. The story itself is a step up from 1 but for the mechanics alone it really brings it down for me. This remake does a lot to make this game fun but just not enough for me.

I feel bad. I feel like I should like this game more, but I just can't because it itself is not all that amazing.
