Tommy Boy (1995)
Chris Farley was a comedic genius. No one can match him in physical/slapstick comedy. Farley and Spade would have been the best comedic duo of my generation if Farley hadn't died at such a young age. R.I.P. Tommy Boy still to this day is the funniest movie I've even seen.
The movie is a 90 minute dick and fart joke. and it is hilarious. some of the funniest and most quotable one liners ever are in this flick. don't miss it.

easily the best performance of ben stillers career. he is perfect in this movie. Vince Vaughn plays himself as always but this is one of his best outings. and the supporting cast is hilarious: Justin Long, Alan Tudyk, rip torn, etc.
this movie is not only hilarious and full of dirty jokes about ass to mouth and beastiality...but it has heart too. I just now realized how funny that last sentence is when read aloud. see this movie. this is Kevin Smith at the top of his game.
easily will ferrells funniest movie by a wide margin. and the supporting cast are hilarious as well. Steve Carrell, paul rudd etc.
if you enjoy watching dumb people get fucked with and outsmarted by a comedic genius pretending to be a middle-eastern idiot...then you'll love this movie too. it's a classic.
Old School (2003)
luke wilson, vince vaughn and will ferrell are the perfect comedic trio in this gutbustingly hilarious romp about sex, fake fraternities and moving on after getting out of shitty relationships.
The Dictator (2012)
just saw sacha baron cohens latest hilarious comedy. the guy is brilliant. he has such a unique brand of humor that can only be categorized as 'sacha baron cohen'. this film is an instant modern day classic.
lots of people hated this movie. i thought it was pretty damn funny. and what an awesome cast: adam sandler, david spade, kevin james, chris rock and rob schneider. the movie is just about a group of old buddies hanging out over the weekend and having fun...that's it. there's no real plot or crisis in this movie. it's just about cracking jokes and having fun. more comedies should take a page from 'Grown ups' many of them try to throw together week stories and plots when they should just focus on jokes and having fun.
Jim carreys funniest movie. easily. he is so over the top in this. no other actor could have gave the performance he did in this movie. it was perfect.
The Hangover (2009)
from the writer/director of road trip and old school (both of those movies are also on this list) comes a movie about a night in vegas that no one can remember..not because of binge drinking but because of....I won't spoil it for you. go see this movie. it's hilarious. the cast is like a seamless comedy machine. the worked perfectly together to make this modern day comedic master piece.
Shaun of the Dead (2004)
the only reason this movie (which also happens to be my favorite movie) isn't higher on this list is because it isn't just a comedy. it's a horror/comedy. having said that this is one of the funniest movies I've ever seen. simon pegg and nick frost are my favorite comedic duo. everything they do together turns to gold. some examples other than this movie would be the british TV show Spaced, and the movies Hot Fuzz and Paul.
juban22's rating:
Superbad (2007)
Easily Jonah Hill and Michael Cera's funniest movie for either of their careers. and most likely the funniest movie either one of them will ever make. I predict that at some point in their careers they will have to go back to the well and make a Superbad 2. You heard it here first. Juban22's random note on a random list. written in may 2012.
