In my opinion, the best turkish band. Even if they are not the best, for sure, they are the most unique band in Turkey.

Gevende is a psychedelic folk band from Turkey. Their mother tongue is Turkish but they use this language very rarely in their songs. For example, this song opens with Turkish lyrics but it continues with an inexistent language. It is an inexistent language because it is used only by Gevende. You may call this language as "Gevendish"...

Nekropsi is a rock band but they always combine different materials to create their sound. So, to categorize their music is not easy.

I would like to add "Trip" song from their last album "Lara" but i couldn't find it on youtube. But, i think that their "The Eraser" cover can be more effective than that. Indeed, covering a Radiohead song successfuly is really a hard thing to do. But 123 achieves this task splendidly!

I prefer "It Dalasi" to "Kara Iplik" but this song is out of youtube. But it doesn't mean Kara Iplik is not a good song. Kirkbinsinek has no album yet and i'm looking forward for their first album.

I discovered Shantijaz while i walk on Istiklal Avenue. And I bought their album "Pangea" by their hands. They make a really unique music with unique instruments such as didgeridoo and santur. I think the ones like ethnic music will like them as well.

Actually, in the beginning, Cilekes was a rock band. They became popular when they won a rock award. However, they are not a rock band anymore. After their second album, they began to create more experimental songs and they released "Histeri Calismalari" which means "hysteria works" in English. It is a song from their experimental album.

Halimden Konan Anlar is an absurd rock from Turkey. I categorize their music as "absurd rock" because I cannot find a better category to add them. Their lyrics are really interesting. Their sound is actually catchy. And I think that they are better than their equivalent, Buyuk Ev Ablukada.
