Art Nouveau style covers the period from 1890 to 1914. This is the so-called La Belle Époque, devoid of great wars, revolutions and political upheavals. Under the influence of new aesthetics, which permitted to amalgamate love for nature with asymmetrical ornamental patterns characteristic of Japonism, and elements from medieval Ages with the so-called third Rococo style, a new, absolutely unique style – Art Nouveau originated.
