"An spin-off of "Super Mario World", this game allowed us to play as Mario's sidekick Yoshi, a dinosaur who could eat enemies and use them as eggs to throw. This game actually makes an outstanding use of that mechanic, resulting in one of the best platformers of its time, and a great game in general."
"Showing a time in which the famous Mario and Luigi duo were just babies, Yoshi's Island ends with a scene in which the two babies are finally reunited with their parents. What I really like about this ending is that during the credits you can watch their journey home along with calm music and an amazing sight of the night. After they get home a message is presented, saying "new heroes are born", marking the start of the Super Mario series. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZV8PCuLQ-v0"
"This is a Super fun game where you are platforming alot. This game reminds me so much of yoshi's story. I loved the boss battle where you encountered the big fat ball guys with red noses. I can't remember what there called though. All the yoshi transformations were neat for example the mole drill and the car. The ending to this game was unforgettable! Spoiler! *You fight baby Bowser on his castle and take the giant baddy down in the dark background. It was nerve wrecking as he marched tow"
"I'm not the biggest Mario fan, but I did play Super Mario World extensively back in the day, and my opinion is that it didn't age well at all. 2 is more fun because it is so innovative."
