When Secret Service agent Ethan Burke (Dillon) goes in search of two colleagues who went missing after following a lead in Idaho, Ethan finds himself waking up in a hospital where he is told by a mysterious and secretive nurse called Pam (Melissa Leo) that he has been in an accident. With no recollection of how he got there or why, Ethan dedicates his time to finding a way out of Wayward Pines.
