The Gothic fantasy Trinity Blood comes to an appropriately baroque finale, with the filmmakers pulling out all the stops. There are aerial battles involving CG mecha; creatures who are angelic, demonic or possibly both dueling in the skies; hidden identities being revealed; murder victims returning from the dead; and a veritable blizzard of symbolic feathers falling on the human characters.
