Based on a popular PC dating game, the 2006 broadcast series Kanon is a remake of the 2002 program. High school student Yuichi Aizawa moves to snowy northern Japan to live with his cousin Noyuki, whom he hasn't seen in seven years. He doesn't remember much about the place, but he's willing to give it a try. Everything appears normal, but the placid surface conceals secrets the filmmakers only hint at.
