" Viewed: Season 1 It's...fine. I guess. None of the six episodes of this first season approach the sheer brilliance of the best "real" roasts, but there are still a few laughs to be had. At once the series is funnier than it probably should have been (roasting historical figures who aren't alive anymore, not roasting actual people who are in the room, and relying on obscure, out-dated cultural stuff), but not as funny as it had the potential to be with better writers.
