Wish it had continued. I would love to know what happened to Devon Adair when they had to put her in stasis and leave her behind....I hate cliffhangers that never get resolved!

Only a few humans remain on the surface of the planet, as it has become uninhabitable for the most parte.7 Ulysses Adair, son of the billionaire Devon Adair, has contracted a rare but deadly, called "syndrome" , 8 whose existence is not recognized by the government nor the medical community. It is believed that this disease, which affects only children, is caused by the lack of an environment similar to the earth.9 Most children born with the disease do not live beyond the age of nine.Desperate to save her son, Devon brings together a group of pioneers to colonize the G889, a planet at 22 light years from Earth, in other families with members affected by the disease can survive. However, the government opposes the establishment of this colony. Hours before the group begins the journey Adair, a bomb is discovered, set to go off one hour after departure.
The Eden Project takes off immediately, throwing the bomb into space before firing, and all members go into hibernation. Twenty years later, the ship arrives at G889, but an accident causes them to crash on the opposite side of planeta.10 With his group scattered and scarce supplies, Devon begins the journey to the west to the originally planned landing site where be founded New Pacifica.During his travels, Adair and his colleagues discovered that the Council, a faction of government that exercises power in space stations, had previously submitted to other human groups in order to explore and control the new world. His plans failed when they were unable to remove the natives of the planet, a race called Terrianos, which has a mysterious symbiosis with the land. When Devon's son was healed by Terrianos and begins to exhibit some of its unique characteristics, becomes the key desired by the Council for the conquest of the planet.
