well, I cannot say it scared me the most, but I couldn´t sleep well a few nights after that:
we were watching Ring on my friend´s notebook one evening, we were 4 girls and we started about 10 pm. So when the movie finished (with some breaks) it was about 1 o´clock. Everywhere silence, nothing moves, just the wind through the open window, some children fotographs (some woman photographer, I don´t know her name, girl on one of those pictures was black-haired and looking right into the camera) on the walls, and then my friend´s phone rings...yes, you surely can imagine, what kind of a ringing tone she had :-P I guess that moment we all have got heart attack ;-))) and of course no one wanted to answer the phone...that friend of mine changed her ringing tone right away :-D

Quite Recently, I Saw Eraserhead And That Crying Whatever-It-Was Lying On The Table Just Gave Me The Creeps.... Thats Just So Wrong!

The Ring (american version, I think the japanese Ringu wasn't scary at all), but I was quite young when I saw it. I guess if I'd watch it again, I would laugh... It is actually on TV tomorrow, we'll see whether it is still scary to me.

An odd one but, The Others. The old lady creeped me out solid :(.
Also: The Ring, The Eye 2 (Asian Ver.), The Grudge.
....and Ernest Scared Stupid......my childhood is scarred due to that movie lol.

Why Is Everyone Scared Of The Ring? Sure, It Was Little Creepy But It Was Virtually Nothing Compared To The Other Horror Films I've Seen!
Both The Japanese Ones & The American Remakes....

Martyrs and A Serbian Film. Also The Girl Next Door (there are two, not the horrible, trashy, sexual comedy). I highly recommend them if you have a thick skin.

The Girl Next Door Starring Elisha Cutbert & Emile Hirsch?
Then That Was A Waste Of Time.....
Then That Was A Waste Of Time.....

Hacksaw: do you really think so? Why? Do you know the back story? Investing in a film makes all the difference sometimes. Also, is Then That Was A Waste Of Time a film title Or Do You Just Like To Capitalize Everything?

I Capitalize Every First Letter Of Each Word... I'm Not Making Any Exceptions Tiffany...
And I Dont Like These Cheesy Movies. I Guess It All Lies In The Taste... I Have Seen The Film & Its A Very Typical Movie... Sorry!

I think Suspiria was the reason I found Jesus.

I have never really been scared by a horror movie (as an adult) but some have creeped me out a bit. As a kid (little kid) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (1978 version) and IT scared me for a while, particularly the former.
Hmmm... I have been grossed out (Hostel, Saw 3), but for sheer freakiness? Some scenes in "The Exorcism of Emily Rose" gave me chills for a few minutes. The Japanese movie "Audition" is pretty messed up and freaky, too, I suppose.

the exorcist. and not because of the head twisting pea soup spitting regan.... i honestly don't know why. i watched way back when HBO was called "the dirty channel" after midnight down in my parent's basement all alone in the dark... maybe it's the memory - i do remember taking the stair two at a time when i went to bed.

i'm not really scared of horror films, but Hellraiser was really fucked up. also Caligula made me sick and apprehensive.

A few years after its release date, "Night of the Living Dead", the great movie of
George A. Romero.
George A. Romero.

Night of the Living Dead - 1969 - still can't watch it again to this day.
