“Suspiria is an odd one, my initial reaction was that I pretty much hated it, or at the very least after reading about it for so long and after building up all these expectations and imaginings for what I thought the movie should be I was left thoroughly disappointed. That was a few years back and since then I have watched it a number of times and I have to say it has grown on me somewhat. My appreciation for the cinematography and art direction has certainly bloomed, while some films would simply be swallowed by such heavy stylization Susperia is rather saved by it.
