There are 2 profiles for Alice Ormsby Gore [www.listal.com/search/alice%20ormsby%20gore]. One has all the content, photos, lists, votes, fans, tags, etc [www.listal.com/alice-ormsby-gore] but the other has the IMDB link [www.listal.com/alice-ormsby--gore].

I tried to report the empty page via "duplicate" but when I enter the URL of the one I want to keepit says it doesn't exist...

@stageactress - any profile that originated from IMDb is considered to be the correct profile. And the "report profile" hasn't been working right for awhile now.

I think some need merging rather than deleting, if you take the situation with model Viki Odintcova her list was created 9 years ago and has over 5000 images, but is technically a duplicate of Viktoria Odintsova as this one was created a year earlier, but this profile has the wrong surname and thousands less images. Most people upload to her profile Viki Odintcova as that is what she is know as.

Well, let’s look at Hannah Davis for example. She has two profiles on Listal, which both have a valid IMDb link. So by the mod’s definition, both profiles are legit.
To my mind, it makes no sense that Listal keep two, or even more profile pages for one and the same person. Because it keeps users confused about which profile is valid.
I find it especially annoying that people keep creating duplicates for existing profiles, often spelling the name slightly incorrectly, or using the Instagram account name instead of the person’s real name, et cetera.
It should be just one profile per person. It should be one Hannah Wilson, not two. I believe most users would agree on that. But for reasons that I can only speculate upon, the moderation of the site is not effectively taking care of the issue. At least this is the impression I get looking through the forum discussions.
That is why I created my list. It is an attempt to bring some order to the chaos, using the limited powers I have as a user. The idea is to let people know, when they hit a duplicate page, that a valid profile already exists. Of course, if they still wish to feed the duplicate, they are free to do so.
There is always going to be cases of “competing” profiles where it is tricky, or even impossible, to decide which is the primary one. I took a few of them out of my list, e.g. the eternal Odintsova/Odintcova.
The votes that my list has got so far show me that there is some appreciation from the community, so I will keep it up while trying to make it better.
