"After a bank robbery, an informer of Chief Inspector Johnno is found murdered after passing along information to the police. The criminal gang is determined to frame the Inspector and concoct a plan to make sure that he is sent to prison whilst they get away with the money. This is a very good British crime movie with a superb turn by Nigel Patrick as the dogged C.I Johnno. The bad guys are led by a stand-out Frank Finlay, making an impression at a young age, and an incredibly slimy Derren Nesb"
