"The Red Turtle has the most beautiful 2D animation and a story that doesn't need dialogs in storytelling. Award: *Best Independent Film"

"When: February 17th First-Time Viewing: Yes. How: Online. What'd I Think?: A beautiful, melancholy, sweet film about loneliness, nature, and love. My Rating: 10/10 Other Notes: NA."
"Seen on February 25 at a Showcase Cinemas location. This was a beautiful movie! It felt unlike any Studio Ghibli movie I've seen before. Maybe Studio Ghibli should do more movies with foreign animators like they did on this one, because it was great seeing them do something different."
