"First viewing - July 31st I absolutely loved this movie. It's a heartfelt, honest, and entertaining exploration of the struggle between aging and artistic expression. The characters all felt real to me, and I love the way it tells the story by mixing in man-on-the-street style interview snippets along the way. As a fan of hip-hop, there are also some great performances and thought-provoking lyrics along the way too. More people need to check this out, and I hope it keeps growing its fandom via "
"SCREENING: Regular DATE: October 5th CINEMA: Curzon LOCATION: Soho NOTE: This played in the same screen as On the Rocks. It replaced On the Rocks on the marquee. And nobody but I was interested in seeing this film at this time. Although I was free to take my mask off and laugh as loud as I pleased, an empty screen for a film like this, well, is offensive."
