"Horror film with David Hedison as a scientist who creates a transporter but when he experiments with himself, he finds that a fly has got into the machine with him and now he is turning into the insect. One of the better horrors of the period that led to David Cronenberg's gorier remake, this takes its time to reveal the change. The ending is a real shocker."

I've been meaning to watch this one for quite a while, but now that I have I gotta say that this is actually on par with the remake. It told a really chilling story, had some really interesting characters with Vincent Price's role being the best. (Surprising opinion, huh?) It does feel a little campy at times, but for the most part it's a really solid movie and I liked it just"
