Lorraine Broughton, an undercover MI6 agent, is sent to Berlin during the Cold War to investigate the murder of a fellow agent and recover a missing list of double agents.I suspected, based on the premise, that this movie would be political in nature and I'd have trouble understanding it. Well, I was right, but not quite for the reasons I thought. My main issue was the plotting. Lorraine's first couple of destinations around Berlin make sense: she's following leads concerning the list. But the scene where she crosses the border lost me: I was confused about what purpose that served. The Good & The Bad - Movies Watched In 2017 (472 movies items)"I'm a big fan of James Bond movies, and, for all intents and purposes, this is the female equivalent. The story occurs in 1989 Berlin, with the back-drop of the Berlin Wall coming down, and the Iron Curtain beginning to crumble. The fight scenes are gritty, intense, and realistic, the action swift and surprising, and the accompanying soundtrack, some of the best tunes from the 80's, adds a dimension of energy that soundtracks rarely achieve. John Wick was fast, smooth, and easy this on the other hand while it does has moments of greatness mainly the action scenes the actual story is convoluted and at times it can be a bit boring.
