"A tough classic drama with Burt Lancaster as an all-powerful Broadway columnist who persuades Tony Curtis's desperate press agent to break up the relationship between Lancaster's sister and a jazz musician. One of those films where the dialogue crackles and deserves multiple screenings to capture the effect of the performances. Lancaster and Curtis have never been better is a game of wit.
