My Movie Diary 2017 (217 movies items)" 2 May. Twenty (or so) yeas after its release, Andrei Tarkovsky's sci-fi "masterpiece" crept into all-time greatest movies list. It is surely memorable for its trio of characters and their journey into the known-unknown, their collage of philosophical debates demanding attention. While, this is not a beautiful film to look at (you can't argue cinematography here), the dark grime and dilapidated scenery is unattractive even in color, it has an attractive quality of an old photograph.ย "
