"In the Pacific Northwest in 1983, outsiders Red Miller and Mandy Bloom lead a loving and peaceful existence. When their pine-scented haven is savagely destroyed by a cult led by the sadistic Jeremiah Sand, Red is catapulted into a trippy journey filled with bloody vengeance and laced with deadly fire. Since seeing this movie I still can't fully process what I just watched, and that is saying something from someone who watches a lot of movies. The story follows a simple revenge ark in a way that"
"March 14th Directed by: Panos Cosmatos I can't figure out why this is so generally well-liked. There's tons of unnecessary scenes, making it feel way too long, the "fight" scenes are not shot well, and it's made obvious Nic Cage just wasn't capable of doing stunts or fight choreography. This, and it's main attraction is the visuals, but it just looks unpleasant. Is this acceptable colour correction? Because I could do this. On top of all this, it's just not memorable, in a month I'll probably"

" Note: Mandy is the movie that I wanted to see someone make in a long time. I love every bit of this movie from start to finish. The movie is a perfect mix of a Grindhouse and Art House movie mixed into one. I love the colorful look that the movie had and the fanastic movie soundtrack. Another thing that I loved about the movie is the occult symbolism that the movie had. This movie is one big trippy dark heavy metal movie that I will never forget. "

"When you open your movie with King Crimson it's highly likely that I will like it. Also when you got Nicolas Cage on acid killing people that will propably happen too. Also Jóhann Jóhannsson's OST for this film is really good."
"Mandy‘s smorgasbord of indulgences is held together by Nicolas Cage, who gives one of the best performances of his career. Director Panos Cosmatos understands Cage as well as any director ever has, fashioning a series of moments that allow the actor to rhythmically blow off his top, exorcising Red’s rage and longing as well as, presumably, his own. In the film’s best scene, Red storms into the bathroom of his cabin and lets out a primal roar, while chugging a bottle of liquor that was stas"
