It's one of the Bond films closest to an Ian Fleming novel, at least ones that I have read. It also was, and still is, the darkest, bloodiest Bond movie ever made. It was made in the days when big filmmakers had big balls. A ballsy Bond movie wasn't made again until Casino Royale in 2006. "
