Critic/filmmaker Yves Montmayeur has produced a string of documentaries on Asian cinema topics, including Miike, yakuza films, Miyazaki, Christopher Doyle, and Johnnie To's Milkyway Image production company. For his latest effort, he followed To on an off over a period of three years -- to film festivals, hotel rooms, and the sets of Breaking News, Election, Exiled, and Sparrow -- interviewing the director and stalwart collaborators like Simon Yam, Anthony Wong, and Louis Koo.
