“I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this flick but since it was Adrian Lyne’s directing debut and since I was always had a weak spot for Jodie Foster so, I was quite eager to check it out. To be honest, I was slightly worried with the opening scene which was rather sleazy and misguided. Fortunately, the rest of the movie turned out to be actually pretty good. Indeed, it was actually quite an interesting and realistic depiction of teenage girls, especially girls from the Valley, and I enjoyed it much more than ‘Valley Girl’ which I just watched a couple of days ago.
