"21.7. Mauritz Stillerin komediassa ei valitettavasti nähdä mielikuvieni mukaista höyrykäyttöistä peltipönttöä, joka jurnuttaa erotiikkaa joka tuutista. Sen sijaan katsojalle tarjoillaan puolitoista tuntia lemmenhuolia komedian muodossa. Salonki-ihmisten romantiikka on itselleni kovin kaukainen ja luotaantyöntävä aihe, joten se syö valtavasti pisteitä. Juonensa osalta elokuvalla kestää jonkin aikaa käynnistyä, mutta hiljalleen asiat alkavat yhdistyä toisiinsa ja kokonaiskuva h"
